Biography
Luang Pu Tuad was born in Songkhla Province in southern Thailand. From a young age, he displayed exceptional mindfulness and kindness. After ordination, he traveled extensively to pursue learning and meditation, including journeys to Ayutthaya, which were extremely dangerous at the time.One of the most famous accounts from his life tells of him turning seawater into fresh water during a voyage, saving the crew from death by thirst. In Buddhist tradition, this story symbolizes not supernatural display, but the purifying power of wisdom and compassion.
Later in life, Luang Pu Tuad became closely associated with Wat Chang Hai (วัดช้างให้), Pattani Province, where he taught monks and laypeople until his passing.

Luang Pu Tuad is remembered as a monk of immense metta (loving-kindness) and moral authority. His practice emphasized strict adherence to the precepts, humility, and service to others.
